Heidi Watney was born May 19th 1981. She is an American sportscaster, and is reporter for Apple TV+. She was a National Merit Scholar. She went to the University of San Diego with an academic scholarship. She graduated in 2003 with honors. [2] Watney has participated in the Miss California USA pageant, in which she was the initial winner in 2002. Watney began her career at KMPH-TV in Fresno in September 2003. After starting as a morning traffic reporter, she was promoted to weekend sports anchor and later reporter for weekdays. [3]Watney arrived in Massachusetts in 2008 to join the team for New England Sports Network (NESN). She was a Boston Red Sox gameday reporter. Watney was also host of the Ultimate Red Sox Show and Red Sox Report.In January 2012, Watney began working for Time Warner Cable SportsNet as a reporter for the LA Galaxy. However, she was hired by MLB Network in November 2012 where she spent nine years. [5] She was host of Quick Pitch. In 2022, she joined Apple TV+.
