Angela Sun

Angela Sun is a journalist film maker, documentary journalist and television host. Angela Sun, a journalist and sportscaster, who has received prizes for her efforts at Santa Clara County California was born October 19, 1979. She earned her degree from the University of California with a diploma in communications and sociology. Sun had excellent surfing skills. She participated in various pro-am Surf competitions which helped her get sponsorships by brands such as Roxy Reef Billabong Vans. The recognition she received of these surfing events was like rocket fuel that helped her get into the entertainment industry. In the following years, she was an actress, sportscaster, investigative filmmaker, journalist and reporter. Sun has worked as a reporter on several news networks, mostly as an anchor. She worked for Fox Sports Net as a reporter in 2003. Sun also hosted American Ninja Warrior alongside Matt Iseman and Jonny Moseley back in 2012. Sun was host of The Yahoo Sports Minute during 2014. She was the sole Asian-American to ever appear on ESPN Fox Sports Yahoo Sports Tennis Channel. Sun has appeared in a variety of films, and her talents as an actor have been acknowledged and appreciated. Sun has appeared in movies like Goliath (2016, Hit the Floor 2014-2016), A Perfect Getaway 2009), Shackled 2005 Street Kings 2008 and Glowsticks and Drumsticks 2004. In 2014, Sun released Platic Paradise: The Great Pacific Garbage Patch the full-length documentary on the effects of trash in the oceans and the impact it has on the environment which she wrote she directed and wrote.
