April Bowlby

April Bowlby, an American model and actress. She has been known for her role as Kandi in the CBS comedy show Two and a Half Men Stacy Barrett on Drop Dead Diva and Rita Farr on Titans and Doom Patrol. April Michelle Bowlby was born in New York City. The actress is most famous for her role in the roles of Stacy Barrett and Kandi on Two and a Half Men as well as Drop Dead Diva, a show that is a comedy, legal and fantasy. Her career began with modeling before she moved into films and television series. In CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, her first TV appearance was in a scene with a background character. In the following years her breakout performance as Kandi was on Two and a Half Men. Bowlby gained international recognition with her Stacy Barrett role in Drop Dead Diva. She played the regular role of Elastigirl/Rita Farr in the American web-series Titans. In a spin-off series of Doom Patrol, she will return to the character. Bowlby is also known as a result of her TV appearances in Sands of Oblivion (a TV film) as well as The Wrong Daughter. Her big screen debut came in the film All Roads Lead Home and afterwards appeared in several other films including The Slammin Salmon and From Prada to Nada. Bowlby moved to Manteca California as a child and went to East Union High School. Following her studies in ballet as well as French in Moorpark College, Bowlby decided to enter the acting field. She studied drama with Ivana Chubbuck and secured the role of a leading television show (Kandi as a character in Two and a Half Men) just a few months after her debut Hollywood audition. Bowlby was a part of a variety of TV programs like CSI with the role of Kaitlin Rackish in 2004's CSI: NY in 2005 as Jenny Lee in 2005 Freddie as Sydney in 2005, Stacked in 2005 as Jasmine in 2005, and How I Met Your Mother in the role of Meg in 2007. Bowlby's latest role was Natasha as a 12 year old girl who lost her mother in the result of an accident in her car. Bowlby plays Mia in The Slammin Salmon, a comedy movie due to release in 2008. Los Angeles is her home. The blonde is natural and red with blue-green eyes. Her relationship is not a family affair.
